ACTION ALERT in Grimsby!!
Construction has started on phase 3 of the Peakes Parkway (originally
planned to be the northen tip of the M11???). The project will put a trunk
road through a rural community.
Work started two weeks ago though this project has been in the pipeline for
the past fifteen years. Locals are attempting to take out an injunction to
halt work during the nesting season. Lots of local children have been
joining in actions to halt work and there have been six arrests since
construction started. Help is urgently needed.
