Dear Supporter,
Just a quick reminder about a few social/fundraising events in December.
First, the Save Swallow's Wood Christmas Party, starting at 8pm on Thursday 11th December 2008 at the Bulls Head, Tintwistle (map). Join us for mulled wine, the Great Big Christmas Quiz with a great prize of a completely organic Unicorn Grocery hamper at stake, and live music too!
Another exciting event is the showing of 'The Navigators', a film by Ken Loach, organised by fellow local transport campaigners Save the Woodhead Tunnel, to celebrate a year of the Save the Woodhead Tunnel campaign. The film runs for 70 minutes, starting at 7pm on Sunday 28th December 2008 at the Partington Theatre, Henry Street, Glossop. For more information, e-mail savethewoodheadtunnel@gmail.com.
