Road Block national conference - 10 June 2006

Hi all

This is the last reminder for the Road Block national conference on 10 June. We are really pleased with the excellent programme we have pulled together - see below. We have the Friends of the Earth lawyer to tell us how to use the Freedom of Information Act and how to challenge decisions. We also have an ecology expert, and a planning expert. There will also be a panel discussion with experienced local campaigners on how to promote alternatives to roadbuilding. You will get a chance to find out from other campaigners what strategies have worked elsewhere. This conference is designed specifically for local campaigners against road schemes, and we hope you will find it inspirational and useful.

It opens at 11am to enable you to get here by public transport, and ends at 5pm. So far we have campaigners coming from Aberdeen to Devon, but there are still a few campaigns unrepresented. Please book as soon as possible so we get an idea of numbers.
