Hatfield Moor action camp August 2002 (South Yorkshire)
Compost Chaos
An action camp is happening at Hatfield Moor in late August along with a mass trespass on the 25th. For the camp there will be lots of different actions and talks & tours of the site from naturalists, activists, archaeologists. The aim is to stop multinational Scott's from ripping up the ecologically sensitive peat bog and turning it into growbags (see loombreaker's 26 & 27).
Meet at Tyrham Hall Hotel, on the A614 south of Lindholme Prison, 12 noon. Transport for the mass trespass will also be going from the "Sustain Up North" festival (aka Northern Green Gathering) near Ackworth in West Yorkshire. For more information call 0778 778 2259 or email info@peatalert.org.uk
